I hope you don't mind, that I put down in the words
How wonderful life is while you're in the world
Christmas was around the corner which meant going home to see his family all gathered together. Christmas for the Kinsley Stuarts was traditional, spent with the entire clan at Gerrard's Cross. They'd enjoy spending time opening presents together on Christmas day, after which a classic dinner was prepared that mostly consisted of turkey, potatoes and brussel sprouts. Quite honestly, there were so many traditions he'd forget them all if he wasn't reminded of them each year.

It was still a few days away however, a few more days of 'work' were still ahead. It wasn't much, mostly just making sure everyone indeed got their Christmas bonus. He'd hate for even one of his employees to be left empty-handed this December. When it was time for his lunch break, he headed out of his office to another one. He knocked on the door, exactly at one o'clock like each wednesday, before peeking his head around the corner. "Are you ready for lunch Isabella?" He inquired with a bright smile. Bella always knew how to make lunch worthwhile.

I ROSE TOO HIGH
LOVED TOO HARD AND DARED TOO MUCH
Christmas was not too far away any longer, which meant a very welcome break from the academic year for both staff and students. She was more than ready to take two weeks off to celebrate and relax. Seeing as she hailed from a catholic family, Christmas had always been important to her and her family. She flew back to Milan every year to celebrate with her parents, siblings, and cousins. A time that was dear to her heart, since she did not see her family much anymore ever since she had moved to London. Needless to say, she was excited to return home.

But there were a few more days to bridge, which were oftentimes the busiest. A few deadlines for papers that needed to be reviewed before Christmas break, not to mention the influx of students that would come in or drop out after the first semester. There was a lot of work involved, so much that she hardly paid mind to the time anymore. She lifted a brow when Archibald opened the door to her office, checking the time on her watch. “Is it one already?” she said, almost baffled. Sometimes it felt as if there wasn’t enough time in the day to cover all the work she had been meaning to do. “But of course, just a second.” She just needed to finish up one more thing. Or perhaps two…
