"All it takes is a smile"

With a grin on her lips Prim was making herself ready. Putting on the cherry red lipstick, which was in stark contrast with her hair color but it really made her face pop in the right kind of ways. Putting on a sleek black dress, with some lace adoring her back. Ready to go out with her friends from GAIA. Not entirely sure what they were gonna do yet, but they were gonna have fun that was a given. Frankly, something she needed. They all just worked their asses off on their papers and what more, so that really deserved a good party to let it all out!

Eventually they ended up in Little Soho. Not a real dancing place, but certainly a good place for pre-drinks. Since they already had their pre-pre-drinks Primrose was already feeling light headed. She wasn’t quite sure if her sister needed to work tonight but well, she’d find out eventually. They ended up on their second round soon, or was it number three already? When they started playing truth or dare. Never a good idea when Primrose was in the house. A dare was thrown at her direction and without further ado the woman turned around. Crawled, still elegantly on the bar when a more upbeat track kicked in. And there she went. Dancing around on the bar.

IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER

YOU'RE THE SUN

A smoke break here, and a smoke break there. It made it a lot easier to get through the night that way, occasionally stepping outside and distancing herself from the more annoying patrons of the evening. Chatting with her co-workers was fun enough, even though she could never really shake the feeling that she needed to get out of here. While it was fun to be here some nights, she felt that continuous inner unrest that she was meant to be doing something more than pouring drinks and cutting limes.

She dropped her cigarette and stood on it in order to put it out, letting out a deep breath into the cold night air. Time to get back, she supposed. Abi dragged a hand through her hair, headed inside, and assumed her spot behind the cocktail bar. Except for the fact that a young woman was suddenly climbing on top of the bar. Abi’s eyes widened, even more so when she identified that exact same girl as her own little sister. For a second, she didn’t know what she was supposed to do. Little Soho had a pretty strict policy concerning bar-standing, which meant she actually had to kick Prim right out. “Prim!” she called out, trying to grab her attention. “Get off there!” She was clearly drunk, and the last thing Abi wanted was for her to fall over and hurt herself.

Primrose was happily dancing away on the bar. Frankly the girl was way to tipsy to care about who was watching or what rules there were in the bar. Just happily dancing, there were a few moments were she almost seemed to tumble down. Frankly she wanted to have some company up there. Looking around to see if she could find a victim she could pull up. Spotting a fairly good looking girl a bit further and she happily made her way over there. Swaying her hips. Politely slapping away a hand that reached for her. Making her briefly grin over her shoulder at the guy in question, before focusing back on the other woman at the end of the bar.

When she heard someone call her name she swirled around n top of the bar. Finding her sister. Smiling widely. ’No! Come up here please.’ She happily exclaimed sticking out her hand. ’I want to dance with you.’ She blurted out, forgetting about the woman on the other end of the bar. Maybe she could convince her sister to come up dancing with her. Though going off from the way her sister was looking at her she sincerely doubted it. ’Please?’

IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER

YOU'RE THE SUN

Every so often, there was an idiot who tried climbing onto the bar in order to showcase their dance moves to every patron in Little Soho. While the music they played here was arguably pretty great, it was no ordinary dive bar where you could just get up on the bar and do whatever the hell you wanted. The owners preferred to keep up at least some semblance of professionality, which meant that people who did push the rules were usually thrown out without a second thought.

Except this time, the person acting out was her very own baby sister. Abi was looking at Prim with wide eyes, not entirely sure what to do at first. It seemed as if no one had interfered yet, which left her with a little bit of time to try and talk her sister down. That, or she would be on the streets in a matter of minutes. Instead of listening, however, Prim tried to persuade her to come up on the bar as well. Abi walked over to her, reaching out to help her sister down. “Prim, please. I’m not joking,” she said, trying to sound serious. “They’re gonna kick you out.” And she doubted her sister would like that. As drunk as she seemed to be, it might lead to a whole new conflict.
