Angie depends on her body in order to make a living, so she spends a lot of time taking care of it. She eats well and spends a significant amount of time working out. Angie has a pretty angular face, which makes for a striking appearance. She has long, brown hair that is in stark contrast with her blue eyes. Angeline was born as the eldest daughter to Jacob and Sophia Branson. She was raised in a mobile home, seeing as both of her parents are English Travelers. Due to her upbringing, Angie speaks a bit of Romani, although she has not had any practice with the language in a long time. Due to her growing up in a large family of Travelers, Angie never really settled down in one place. They were on the move a lot, which made it difficult to socialize with people beyond her own extended family. Therefore, Angie was quite close to her relatives as a young child.

Angie, while somewhat smart in her own way, was never great at school, preferring to spend her time on other things instead. She was mostly preoccupied with boys and relationships. Hitting puberty relatively early, Angie seemed a little older than she actually was. This led to her getting into her first serious relationship at the age of thirteen, with a man who was five years her senior. He wasn’t good to her by any stretch of the imagination. He drank a lot, was involved in multiple burglaries, cheated on her, and even got violent at times. Still, Angie stayed with him for multiple years, until he went to prison and she moved away again.

She continued dating after that, never actually having a relationship that could be considered healthy. Angie herself started sleeping around as well. She liked the validation of men taking her home, since in her head sex was equal to love. Needless to say, frequently going home with strange men got her in trouble sometimes, both with those men as well as with her boyfriends over the years. Angie learnt that men could not really be trusted, and that it them being aggressive towards her was always a given.

Slowly, she got sick of the life of being a Traveler. She wanted to settle down for once and felt drawn towards London because of the countless opportunities it seemed to offer in her eyes. She had never been particularly ambitious, but she felt like merely moving to the big city would set her on her true path. But living in London was expensive, and without much in the way of education, Angeline found herself having to resort to stripping in order to pay the bills. At first, she told herself that it was only temporary. She would use this job to stay afloat until something else crossed her path, but nothing ever did.

Through her work as a stripper, Angie became well-acquainted with the darker aspects of the London nightlife. A few men she slept around with introduced her to stimulants such as ecstasy, speed, and cocaine, which she started abusing to make her work a little easier. Requiring more money to sustain her expensive drug habit, she started prostituting herself as well. She became trapped in a vicious circle where she needed drugs so she could do her job and her job in order to afford those drugs.

The years went by and Angeline grew quite notorious within the industry through her distinctive looks. She starred in a few adult films, built up a clientele of her own, and worked at Platinum Lace for a few nights a week. This was all quite lucrative for her, but life wasn’t easy. She was bordering on becoming an addict and, because of the work she did, failed to ever sustain a healthy relationship. Eventually, however, she started dating a man she had met at Platinum Lace. He was wealthy and one of the first people to treat her well. But, of course, there was a catch. He was married to someone else already. Angie, however, decided that she didn’t care and continued to pursue the relationship. It did not take long for her to notice that there was nothing sustainable about it, though. So when her ‘boyfriend’ ended up going to prison, Angie decided to go to rehab in order to deal with her own problems.

And she came out a better person for it. While not entirely clean, she acquired control over her drug use. She still occasionally uses ecstasy, especially when she has to work, but barely touches cocaine anymore. Angie remained in the industry, convinced that she never really could do anything else. She grew quite close to the girls she worked with, especially the owner of the club she worked at. So close that Angie kept it quiet when she witnessed the woman shooting her own husband one fateful night. She even helped her cover up the crime. To this day, Angie works at Platinum Lace, and has said nothing of that night to anyone.
